How to safely stuff your KONG
The Ollie Health Team weighs in on the safest ways to fill, freeze, and serve.
Keep it cold. For safe, less messy stuffing, work with fresh food that’s still cold or slightly frozen. Be sure to feed within 4 days of thawing.
Freeze or serve right away. Once stuffed, you can serve immediately or wrap and store in the freezer for up to one month.
Store the unused portion. Any food from the package that didn’t touch the KONG can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Don’t save leftovers from the toy. Because Ollie is human-grade fresh food, anything served should be consumed within 4 hours.
